Brief Description

This position is responsible for analyzing and managing various size projects for all levels of management and presenting recommendations for decision making purposes.  These decision making projects include, but not limited to, profitability models, staffing models, bid & proposal models, as well as budgeting and forecasting administrative expenses.

Detailed Description
  • Coordinate the annual budget process including quarterly and re-forecast variance reporting.
  • Research, analyze and prepare proposals for major multi-million dollar government contracts.
  • Research and produce detailed financial and numerical analyses including cost/benefit analyses of proposed divisional changes due to initial & subsequent system implementations for presentation and decision making.
  • Assist in the on-going review and analysis of organizational staffing.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to division and senior management as requested.
Job Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen and possess or be eligible to obtain DOD ADP II Clearance
  • A BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field or equivalent education, training or experience is required
  • 5 plus years of successful related work experience.
  • Professional certificate(s) or training as required
  • Healthcare and/or insurance industry experience preferred.
  • Advanced analytical and problem solving skills to evaluate business processes and recommend effective solutions.
  • Advanced organization/time management and project management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Ability to clearly present written information and findings.
  • Ability to communicate concepts; ability to make executive level presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of internal and external staff in a professional manner.
  • PC literacy required:  MSOffice skills (Outlook, strong Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint), Oracle and Hyperion preferred.
  • Strong organization/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to develop, implement and maintain analytic tools.
  • Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and accounting structure.
  • Excellent financial, mathematic, and/or statistical background.
  • Ability to clearly present written information and findings.
  • Ability to clearly communicate concepts.
  • Ability to make management level presentations.
  • The ability to work well with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
