Brief Description

This position is responsible for leading/coaching the CSR?s in response to customer issues and complex inquiries. Responsibilities include monitoring work queues and distribution of work to achieve departmental goals and standards.

Detailed Description
  • Leads/coaches the CSR?s in response to customer issues, complex inquiries and difficult situations.
  • Monitors work queues and distribution of workload for adequate coverage, ensuring. departmental goals are achieved and maintained.
  • Recommends to supervisor or manager how to address deficiencies.
  • Provides immediate feedback to supervisors and managers of individual CSR performance issues.
  • Provides recommendations for development and discipline in order to attain quality customer service.
  • Fosters a positive environment where the staff has opportunity for career advancement.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED, but candidates with proven experience will not be excluded from consideration.
  • An Associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 years related experience.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and dental claim processing, procedures and guidelines.
  • Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Detail-oriented; flexible and creative.  Self motivated.
  • Ability to pass the CSR II Test.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to effectively handle constant interruptions and resolve conflicts.
  • Ability to make effective business recommendations and develop methods and procedures to improve department?s effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Demonstrated coaching and training skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills to work effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Must be PC literate; MSOffice skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment (personal computer, photocopy machine, fax machine, etc.).
  • Ability to work at a computer up to 7 hours a day. Regularly required to sit for long periods of time, and occasionally stand and walk.
  • Regularly uses hands to operate computer and other office equipment.
  • Close vision required for computer usage.  Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, climb and lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to maintain consistent, regular attendance
  • Ability to report to perform tasks in a physical work office environment.
  • Ability to clearly present written information.
  • Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.  Ability to make effective presentations.
  • Ability to effectively communicate information to all departments.  Interpersonal skills which are conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
