Detailed Description
  • Technical J2EE development resource who is a subject matter expert on Oracle ADF and J2EE component design and development
  • Implementing Use-Case business logic as java components, libraries, API, patterns, and services interfacing with integration and data services layers to extract business data and in turn providing this data for use by the presentation layer
  • Document business tier design (JavaDoc), API, patterns, best practices, and coding standards 
  • Participating in code review and detailed design reviews

Job Requirements
  • Development Skills: Oracle ADF, Oracle Weblogic, Oracle/database experience (SQL, PL/SQL), JSF, JHeadstart experience a plus. Java SE and EE with solid background of object orientated development in Core Java (Collections and Data Structure Algorithm), Design Patterns, Coding Best Practices, unit testing, exception handling, XML, XSD, XSLT and Oracle ADF business component development. Strong in UI component based architecture.
  • Database DevelopmentJDBC, SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle ADF business component.
  • Web Development: JSP/Servlet/JavaScript/Ajax, MVC Framework, JAAS, ADF Security, and WebCenter Portal/Portlet development is a plus.
  • Design Skills: Hands on knowledge of using Gang of Four and J2EE Design Pattern,   and preferred knowledge of using UML in communicating application design. Experience in designing and writing any custom framework is a plus. Experience with Java Web Services is a must.
  • Development Infrastructure
  • Os: Development on Windows XP, Red Hat Linus, Sun Solaris/Unix (optional)
  • Servers: (preferred) Oracle Application Server 10x, WebLogic Server, Oracle Portal Server 10x, JBOSS/Tomcat Server. (Optional) Any Commercial J2EE application server.
  • Databases: Oracle 11g, PLSQL, SQL, MS Access, MS SQL Server2000, DB2
  • Development Tools: Oracle JDeveloper, Eclipse 3x, (or similar IDE?s such as JBuilder, RSA).
  • Test Driven Development: Test Driven Development and  TDD tools such as JUnit for unit-testing
  • Development Process: Preferred but not required a knowledge of Agile development process
  • Build Development: Maven2 or previous Ant build script knowledge
  • Quality Assurance: Preferred working knowledge of Rational ClearQuest for defect tracking
  • Source Control Tool: Rational Clear Case, CVS, SVN
  • ADF application development skills is a must
  • Must have hands on experience with Oracle JDeveloper 11g
  • Oracle/WebLogic Portal 10g/11g development
  • Experience with  building  JSF/ADF Faces based portlets
  • WebCenterSuite 11g knowledge is a plus
  • WebCenter application development skills by default with ADF expertise is a plus
  • Knowledge of use-case driven, test-driven, and iterative development processes is highly desired.
  • Candidate will attend daily development meetings and be prepared to provide status updates to project architect and manager.
